Covering CORPORATE event in some of 5-star hotels and places is one of the many privilege a photographer can really enjoy. Whenever I have time I always take a moment and look at the surroundings, break time is the best time to do it like when I covered the event at The Palace on September 30, 2013, I had two hours break and instead of just sitting in the chair waiting for the next session, I took the opportunity to walk outside the hotel and take some snap shots of the surroundings. BTW, I did not use tripod here as I don't normally bring it for event coverage and tripod is also hot in the eyes of the security guards but I do have a very lightweight Manfrotto monopod.
