LBC opens a bigger warehouse in Al Quoz, Dubai.
Company plans to hire more people to meet expansion goals.
LBC Express, Inc., the Philippines' leading courier and cargo solutions provider, is planning to further expand to the UAE and across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region after the opening of its new and bigger warehouse in Dubai.
The company has opened an 11,700 square feet warehouse in Al Qouz, Dubai to serve one of the biggest expatriate communities in the region, the Filipinos, as well as other residents. The new warehouse will also operate as its regional office for the Middle East.

DUBAI, UAE – Dubbed as Aid of Hope, a group of united Filipino volunteers held a fund raising event to help the victims of Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) in Zabeel Park on November 15. A total amount of Dhs. 93,195 was raised plus 308 boxes of goods. The money donations were coursed through the Red Crescent Society who will coordinate with the Philippine Red Cross while the donations in kind have been forwarded to LBC for the immediate shipping to the Philippine Red Cross as well. All donations came from Filipinos and other expatriates and companies from across the United Arab Emirates who participated in the various activities launched during the event.
Ang "Filipinos Unite For a Cause" ay magsasagawa ng malawakang "Aid of Hope" na gaganapin sa Zabeel Park sa darating na Biyernes, ika 15 ng Nobyembre, upang damayan ang mga kababayan nating nasalanta ng Super Typhoon Yolanda. Maaari pong dalhin ang inyong mga donasyon sa darating na Biyernes simula 8am hanggang 5pm sa MegaBowl area ng Zabeel Park, maglalagay po ang Red Crescent Society ng mga donation boxes sa paligid ng Mega Bowl. Maaari din po kami tumangap ng mga cash na donasyon galing sa mga kumpanya na may kalakip naman pong acknowledgement pagkatapos ng event. Ang lahat po ng malilikom ay mapupunta sa Philippine Red Cross, sa pamamagitan na rin ng Red Crescent Society.
The Consulate General of the Republic of the Philippines in Dubai and Northern Emirates in cooperation with National Commission for Culture and Arts (NCCA) organized a first ever Cultural Workshop on Dance, Music and Drama for the Filipino Students in Dubai and Sharjah and the Grand Recital of the said activity was held at Dubai Men's College Auditorium, Dubai Academic City on 24th of October 2013.
