I got one video editing work recently, it is a Silver Wedding video shots in India. The client wants a Music Video edit and a full coverage edit. In the full edit, the client wants some clips from the wedding video taken 25 years ago to be included. The problem is that the old video is in VHS tape... ooohhh, I am not using my VHS player for long time now and I still have to dig my old gadgets bag to find the converter from analog video to digital video... but that's fine, I set-up the VHS player, cleaned up the drum head and searched the converter. After setting up, another problem arose, the driver software of the gadget is not compatible with my Windows 7, in short, it will not work. Wow! the good thing is that I have an old laptop with Windows Vista and finally I was able to download the video from VHS to my old laptop.
Since the video is already 25 years old, I thought it would be nice if I will make it to look like an old film movie. I toned the clips with sepia color then I used an old film mask to overlay the video clips, this is the result...
